This place was amazing if you ver get to go there or near i suggest you do it. This place has over 250 workers and they bring all the stuff you ordered up from a ware house on some type of convaour belt that goes through the whole store. Not to mention the have 1D mark III and 1D mark IV just sitting around to play with.

Yeah the store is a camera lovers playland. Really lets you get a chance to have hands on period with the equipment.

I've never been there:(.

But there are a couple of places around here that are cool, a "real" photography store, for one, so you can go, "talk shop" and browse a fair variety of "stuff". The storefront is not that big but they do have a good amount of stuff they have in some kind of stockroom.

Another cool place is Fry's -- not a photo place, but a wonderful "superstore" for all things electronics/computer-related. The last time I wanted to replace my computer/workstation, all I had to do was grab a shopping cart and go to the computer department desk, discuss my needs/wants and an hour or so later I left with all I needed for building a nice new one (and a $2,000 hit on my credit card:))!

tonylong BH is unlike any photography store, it is camera wonderland. They have it all, and you get to play with it all.

Yeah, I've heard!

They are also a reat place to order from -- very speedy deliveries. I've spent a lot of money there without having ever walked through the doors!

I think if I went to NYC the last place I would go is shopping, even at B&H.

new york is a shopping mecca. Hard not to do it when visiting. But like BurningCrown mention, you get to play with the toys and they don't mind one bit.
