I shoot film EOS occasionally for fun. There are modern EF lenses and modern films available today that make film much more enjoyable and capable of better results than ever before. It's a shame that film guys are few these days; it really is the best time ever to use the medium.

Got the following film bodies and love them! EOS IX7, 50E, 33V & EOS 3 + non EOS Canon A1 & Leica 111G. They are all excellent cameras of their type and time - but my 5Dc & 1D4 simply give me better results - though not by much!

Life is for living, cameras are to capture it (one day I will learn how!).

Canon EOS A2. The center AF point will lock on to drywall texture in LESS light than EITHER my 7D or 1Dii.

And using the 50 f1.8 is just rad.

I still have my EOS 3 but have not used it in a long time. Maybe I need to break it out and use it.

i have an elan 7e that i bought off ebay, just because of the lens attached to it...i shot a couple rolls of film, but never developed them...maybe i'll get them developed and give it another shot...i do want to figure out how the eye controlled AF point selection works...

Reporting for duty!

I've been using my Elan 7E to do a good bit of color work lately. Now that I've started to develop my own C-41 film the Bronica has been getting a lot more love, but there's still some room for a roll of 135 every once in a while :).

When the new lens gets here I expect that number to go up greatly.

Calibrate it and then look at the AF point :p.

I paid Euros 30 for an analog SLR camera(EOS 650) and 1/5th of the camera cost for a roll(black-and-white indeed).

You will feel like pro once you start shooting with film, why because...

...you take your time to shoot

...you compose with great care

...you want to say 'ready' before you press the shutter button. I don't know how many times I said it...

You know, you can do all of those things with digital too .

I feel like a 'pro' shooting film because no one seems to remember what it is :p.
