My name is Todd, 46 years old, living in Toronto, I just found this forum today. I had an interest in photography years ago but gave it up, then within the last year and a half I took the plunge and bought a T1i. I was immediately hooked, the addiction has weakened me to upgrading to a 5D mkII with the kit lens (24-105mm f4), 580 EXII flash, 70-200mm f2.8 IS mkI and recently a 100mm 2.8 IS macro lens as well as a softbox. In other words...more than my budget allows and definitely more than my wife knows about!
I like taking landscape and portrait shots for the most part, its a big learning curve and my knowledge of photoshop does not extend beyond watermarking my pics at this point, so I am generally using Window Live gallery to do most of the processing.
I am overwhelmed looking at this forum for a few hours, so many great photos and ideas, really fantastic!
I feel a little shy to post some of my photos, but here are a few recents.
