I've just been piecing together the clips I shot at a Steam weekend the total time being about 33 mins. I left the PC processing the file as an HD Movie and came back 90 minutes later to find it had failed saying it couldn't find some files, all the clips were loaded so i don't see that as a problem.
Is there a limit to the size of file it can handle? This is the longest I have done with it. I could split it into two parts I guess but would prefer just one. Any suggestions welcomed.

...do you mean exporting?

If yes, what were your export settings? What about your computer's processor and memory?

From the outside looking in, you can’t understand it. From the inside looking out, you can’t explain it.

Yes exporting as an HD movie, it's a Pentium 5400 2.7Ghz Dual Core running on Windows 7 32 bit with 3Gb of memory plus masses of HD space. The total size of the raw clips is 11GB

My drive is NTFS so no 4GB limit ( in theory :D) but with Microsoft software who knows

I haven't been able to find any instructions or user information or system requirements regarding Movie Maker, can anyone point me in the right direction.

I have PP and Vegas and access to FCS, but I still use MM all the time (though not for DSLR footage).
It's an awesome little program.
