We're visiting Texas this spring, doing some birding but also scenics. Not the best year for bluebonnets, but still found some worth the time.

Yeah, I haven't seen much in the way of full field after field areas yet... mostly along highways. Great job capturing their colors, very vibrant.

You're on your way to NM?

Stan - real nice shots - we are not getting hardly any wild flowers in AZ - no poppies or much of anything colorful - the cactus are starting to bloom - but they just do not lay down a carpet of color- really like the #5 with the paintbrush and blue bonents

Thanks, Todd. We found very few around Fredericksburg, more around College Station, but the biggest fields were near Waco.

Thanks, Marcy. Texas has had little or no rain this spring, so the wildflowers just aren't going to be as good as normal.

Thanks, Betty. Florida needs to get busy and increase the wildflowers along highways.

Nice Stan! I was down in that area a couple of weeks back, and was hard pressed to find anything close to normal spring wildflowers.

And it's going to be a spell before we get much here in northern Utah as we got 8" of snow yesterday!

Thanks, Steve. Seems that dry weather or late snow is affecting all the southwestern states this year. I haven't heard any good wildflower reports. Of course, we won't know about CO until July.
