I do remember reading that flexible sensors had been developed a year or so ago but this seems a little 'too good to be true.'

Does the cable work simply by being in proximity? People that know me call me Dan

Apr 04, 2011 11:15 | #5 I have seen digital replacement backs for some analog cameras, though that was several years ago. This Re35 looks like April fools, but it's probably feasible with current technology, except possibly for the flexibility of the sensor. Wouldn't be cheap, but it's probably a high-end hobbyist niche product any way. The Sensor flexs back and forth with electrical current to zoom and to focus. All it needs is 1 lens element. Not big enough for DSLR use but, could make its way into cell phones and P&S's soon enough. Nikon D700: 16-35 F4, 50 1.4G, 85 1.8,105 VR Micro, 135F2 DC, 80-200 2.8 AFS
