Whitelee Wind Farm is Europe's largest. It's an impressive faciltity over a large area with a lot of windmills. It can generate enough power for 180,000 houses and that is a lot of Glasgow.

The facility is in East Ayreshire, south west of Glasgow. I am glad to say I get some of my power from this sustainable approach.

Thanks both - it was windy and my youngest daughter (10) was impressed with the noise of the blades as they swung past us.

I wish I got a shot with a slower shutter though, would have liked some movement in the blades - save that for next time.

With kind regards
Jeff
