I have seen many people use the larger flashes for outdoor portraits. Would a 430EXII significantly improve my outdoor portraits? I normally shoot relatively close shots within range of such a flash.

gonzogolf dumb remark memorialized More info | Apr 04, 2011 16:16 | #2 It all depends on what you are trying to do using the flash for outdoor portraits. A 430exII up close would fill in some eye shadows on the middle of the day, but its not going to help you knock down the ambient.
