I wonder if one of you gurus can help me. Is there any way, in Windows 7, to arrange the pictures in the My Pictures library in order of file type. In Lightroom it is very easy to, say, put all the jpegs together and all the DNGs together. I would like to do the same thing in Windows but I haven't found a way of doing it. I'm probably overlooking something simple. Am I, or is it not possible?

If you right click when you are viewing say your my pictures folder, go to sort by, then at the bottom of the sort by menu there should be a "More" option.

Scroll all the way down to the "T"'s and select the check box near type.

Then when you go back to the right click menu > sort by. You will see a type option, and it will sort by file type.

I attached a few pictures to give you a visual of what I mean.
