Got hired to take some photos for a former member of Parliament starting his own jazz/funk band. His first show was at a small venue in Providence called The Spot Underground. I had never been there, so I googled it, and the pictures looked like there was decent lighting.
When I got there, it was almost completely dark. Very dim lit room with couches, christmas lights, and some stage lighting. I was like "Ohhh crap, this is going to be rough". I ended up using my trusty Sigma 30 1.4, which I just recently re-purchased after having seller's remorse. All of these were at high ISO's as well (3200+)
To make matters worse, he was moving around a LOT on stage, so I needed my shutter speed a little higher than usual (1/250+)
1. f1.6, 1/250, ISO 3200
2. f1.4, 1/250, ISO 2500
3. f1.6, 1/125, ISO 6400
4. f2.5, 1/100, ISO 6400
5. f1.8, 1/125, ISO 5000
6. f1.4, 1/250, ISO 2500
7. f1.6, 1/160, ISO 3200
8. Just for fun -- they had a fish tank, so I busted out my fish eye
