Toads in my pond

Not a great shot, but these are one pair of the toads breeding in my pond, they were just floating around until i got too close, i am hoping to be able to do a photo diary of the new borns when they arrive, the spawn is already laid.

I only have a small flash unit, besides wouldnt it scare the little guys with bright lights on them?
This shot was natural light and i think brings out the correct colour of the toads as they were floating around.
