I love that neither of them are looking at the camera, but.....

I guess while were here any other thoughts besides the background would be great.

The only thing that bothers me about your background is how contrasty it is. This is probably a product of the high contrast black and white conversion. I applied some gaussian blur to help. I think it makes the photo look a little more pleasing.

Ideally things going through the center of the head is not good.
Doubt I would have noticed the background as a problem, since it is nice and blurred, if you had not mentioned it.
I seems overall somewhat underexposed on my crappy monitor.

If you'd crop it with the subject near center and crop out much above the subject's head, that would help.
