Any thoughts on it for landscapes with milky way star fields? (unfortunately i'm too far south for frequent auroras). Adam Pender

(unfortunately i'm too far south for frequent auroras). My first thought would be that that is not wide enough for good Milky Way shots. Are you shooting on a crop or full-frame? I find my 18 is just barely wide enough on my 1.6x crop, and would like to go wider if I could. 24 on a ff body may be ok. On a crop this is not the best choice. Go with the Tokina 11-16 Helge
