I think it's great. Only thing that people may pick up on is what the girls is doing with the tongue.
I'm not that bothered by it, kids are kids and I think you should shoot them as they are, but some people will think that's not right.

I think the colours are lovely, and the focus is all in the right places, so it's a lovely shot. :)

LOL thanks... Yeah My daughter tends to either play with her hands or her mouth whenever she gets kind of shy in front of the camera.... Anyway thanks for the critique!

I love it!!!
I guess you could say something about cutting off her head a bit. Or her leaning out of the picture (put neg. space on other side). But I do love it as is!

I like it as is, and the tongue has nothing to do with anything inappropriate..lol...thats what kids DO! The lighting you use on her, in this and the other post, is very lovely.

Oh, I agree. But I have had people suggest that, when taking pictures of my kids playing in the garden, that they should wash their faces first, and so on. I think kids should be photographed exactly as they are...:)

Totally agree Craig, and it holds especially true with your situation.can you imagine trying to get her all dolled up for a photo? I think Ruby would not be a happy camper:lol: I love seeing her just as she is.

Would have preferred it without the tongue detail....perhaps a bit too smooth.
But I like the framing and sharpness.

Exposure, WB, focus and lighting all completely nailed. Remember what you did and go back to it often!

Sorry, the skin looks too smooth and the eyes and mouth as super sharp. First thought was, the eyes look unreal they are so sharp and detailed, second thought was the mouth is also sharp, wait this looks like Clutch cargo a little. Don't take offense it's my honest opinion. Hope this helps.
