Here's a good one:
I sold my EF 75-300mm IS USM on eBay a few days ago. I listed it at an honest $300.00 with no reserve. (That means I would have sold it for the $300.00 if no one bid higher.) Those nit wits bid it up all the way to $513.00 plus $12.00 shipping! New ones are selling for a LOT less than that.

The world's first interchangeable lens with a built-in image Stabilizer (IS), the new Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM lens - designed exclusively for Canon ...
The buyer paid me (PayPal) and I shipped the lens the next day. Now, I get the following email from the buyer:
"I'm truly dissapointed in the lens I purchased from you. Serial No. 95202489 is anything but a new lens that you purchased recently according to your statement on eBay. If this is true, you have taken this lens around the world. It is truly showing its wear. True, no nicks scratches, dings, or lens damage, but the lens seems foggy, and the extension to get a longer aspect is extremely loose. I'm not sure how to handle this, but I ask you to accept a return less cost of shipping. I'm truly unhappy with my purchase."
Yeah, right! The guy obviously decided to check on the prices AFTER he bid on my sale. Now he's squirming around saying that he's getting a "professional photo studio" to tell me and eBay that the lens is defective. What a heap of rubbish. I wish people would grow up and assume responsibility for their own actions. Faint hope, I know.
