Hi!

I would like to get a medium portable softbox which I can use with my Canon flash and profoto strobe.

I have looked around. I like Photoflex Litedome and Wescott Apollo 28 a lot but the problem is that they only work with camera flashes but not with powerful strobes. At least that's what BH says on its website: "for camera flash only".

Do you know any softbox/octabox on which I can set up my camera flash and a profoto speed ring as well?

Thanks!

When they say flash only, it means not for continuous lights which can get very hot. BTW - Almost all softboxes will work with speedlites or strobe as long as you can get proper speedring/adapter for use with hot shoe flashes.

The photoflex litedome will work with hot shoe flashes as well as profoto. I have one and do use it with speedlites as well as Alien Bees. Key is proper speedring/flash adapter. Photoflex sells a plastic speedring with a bracket or you can go bowen mount with cheetahstand speedpro bracket.

Apollo also works not sure about profoto though as I don't have them, only ABs here.
