This Anna's was busy catching small bugs and every few minutes returning to feed her hungry pair. The back lighted shady location, leaves and fast feeding movements were a small challenge. Like most hummers she was comfortable with a quiet human presence, showing no signs of distress about having me about five feet from the nest.
My settings are an attempted balance of getting sufficient pixels under the subjects, depth-of-feed, shutter speed and reasonable ISO. I hope to try some other combinations while the two are still in the nest.
