besides the fact it's dead center, what else needs improving with my UNbw! shots? I'd be happy with 3out10 :oops:
maybe a bit out of focus too????

I would say try to clean up the clutter of the background (of the flower) to get the viewer to pay more attention to the main flower at hand. Either by contrasting colors, use of shallow dof, whatever. Im also unsure about it's composition, as it sits right in the center, or perhaps its the cluttered background thats giving me this tension of wanting to see the flower and the flower itself.

Its not the BG that gets me, its too much blur in the foreground.Isolate the main bloom, and then use your DOF to soften the extras.
