What does Non-Professional and Professional mean? Are they talking about the person getting the insurance or the type of equipment they are insuring?
I guess they assess risk as pros being harder on their stuff then enthusiasts.

I am trying to figure out what motive is, considering the POTN community had no part of this, and details won't be divulged, etc. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

What if your purse gets stolen? I'm a noob. Here to learn.

Local police exist only to serve and protect a bottom line anymore. Solving and preventing crime really is not a profitable endeavor. Better to stick to issuing citations to local motorists.

Prices across the board go up, but nobody wants to raise any taxes to pay for the expenses, so what are they supposed to do exactly? Also, let's see, do we tie up the crime unit for an online sale that has gone south, or try to solve the different homicides, home invasions, etc? I know where I want them to concentrate their efforts. Please give a little more respect for the folks that are putting their lives in jeopardy each day. Well, I guess in cow and corn country Indiana your local pd has those issues to deal with. Here in my part of PA, we do not. Well, my neighbor did have his home broken into a few months ago, I imagine you believe that crack crime unit provided justice.

Seriously, for the size of my Borough and with its proximity to highway exits, it would be way more cost effective to ditch the local PD and let the State force handle any issues. Do not believe that what you see on those television shows is the reality for every person with a badge across the nation. The local yokels here place themselves in jeopardy not even the tiniest fraction of what the volunteer FD do.Still doesn't make your sterotyping any more valid. I lived in PA as well btw, and never saw that in the area I lived in. If you feel strongly about how your local enforcement is being executed, then get involved in your community politics and try to make a difference. Past Equipment | My Personal Gallery

So sort of...the guy that had the bike was the brother of the valet who also worked for the same company. We think the valet called his brother and he basically played lookout while he took the bike. The sad thing is that the Austin Doubletree would take absolutely no responsibility (even though you pay $15 to park in the parking garage!). Because the guy worked for a parking management company and not the hotel, he didn't even lose his job. Pretty much nothing was done to this guy to discourage him from doing it again - well at least by the authorities...
