Hi, guys, I just wanted to ask you will I get 2:1 if I reverse mount an EF 50/2.5? And also, what should I expect if I mount:
Kenko 20+36mm + EF50/2.5
Kenko 20+36 + reversed 50/2.5
Kenko 20+36 + EF50/2.5 + 50/1.8
Currently I have the extension tubes and the EF 50/1.8 and I'm wondering what else to buy, because I can't afford 100/2.8 right now. When I mount the extension tubes and reversed 50/1.8 I get nearly 1.7:1, but I loose the aperture control, so I'll need to modify 2 extension tubes, which I don't have right now. I'm thinking of modifying 2 12 mm, so then I'll be able to use extensions without electronic contacts, just adding this to the body and before the lens and also the lens may be reversed easily.
Thanks in advance :)

reversing 50/2.5 macro is just like reversing a 50/1.8...

just add ET on 50/2.5 macro on normal mount...

Are you sure? The 50/2.5 is 1:2.

the 1:2 will only work if you use the lens on normal mount [not reversed]...

if reversed, ALL 50mm will be the same...
