First BIF Keeper (Duck) looking for feedback

Hi
I have been practicing in my garden wher we have several pairs on the local river at the bottom of my garden. I have feed this pair everytime I step out,as I was stood looking skyward and they say me and flew in to land.
Let me have it.

Nice grab shot. The lighting here doesn't help you: part of the bird's head and throat fades into the background. But I don't know how you could have made it better under the circumstances.

Easy fix in edit....sometimes these birds take you by surprise with little time to ready yourself!

GND, dodge and burn to lighten the neck and slight sharp

Was a difficult transition and light was to left.

Shot 2 looks very noisey, BIF is very difficult, shot 3 is impressive, never ever seen a mallard in flight like that.
