Do an eBay search for either the S3IS or the S5IS, and you'll find a bunch of retards
offering similarly overinflated prices. I can't imagine what they expect, or why they
think discontinued camera models should sell for hundreds of dollars more than
the current models that have replaced them.

Months ago, I actually sent a message to one such seller.
I implied that they were insane and out of touch with reality, and asked if they were
trying to launder money or somesuch. Surprisingly, I never got a response.

Seriously, it wouldn't surprise me if these auctions are being set up by criminals
in the drug trade. It'd give them some 'legitimate' means of recording the income
if it's all prearranged by specific buyers and sellers.
