Give it time, dude. Maybe wonder after....a day or two. haha.

Its alright. He is squinting..or something. That left is obviously "skinner" than the right. I would've shot with the "larger" eye in front.(But I'm still new so that could be total crap. I'm still trying to figure out how to photograph people with certain eyes..)
And there seems to be like a...haze? or something over his glasses. I find that slightly distracting.
Overall, not to bad! Keep on clicking! :D

I think the camera's meter was fooled by the piece of wood behind his head because his skin is a very strange cast. The glasses have also caused a break in line of the face, causing it to recede.

Glasses can be very tricky...the best way to keep them clear is to remove the lenses!! LOL...J/K. Try turning your subject until the light strikes the lenses in a direction that removes the glare but still gives good modeling light to subject. They also make it hard to focus on the eyes as the frames and lenses will usually draw the autofocus bean. This is particularly bad when shooting at a wide open aperture as your DOF will be very short. Keep on shooting and these things will become easier to overcome. Pure sun is the worst possible lighting to shoot in and get a good look for modeling. Just after sunup and just before sunset is always the best light as it is very soft!
