The first rule of voting. Please please please leave a comment when you vote. This contest really comes alive when people just drop in,say hi and perhaps tell us why they voted for a particular photo. It makes the contest more fun and gives really great feedback for the photographers.

Other stuff:

  • The poll will remain open for 7 days.
  • You can vote for three photos. Your vote will be public
  • Please don't vote for your own photos!
  • As before there will 1st, 2nd and 3rd place positions.
  • No prizes, sorry
  • I will be announcing the names (aliases) of the people who win. Send me a PM if you don't want your name to be announced.
All the photos can be viewed here (external link)

Good luck everyone!!! :D

I would have to say that 8 is the best of the bunch, although shame not many others participated (me included) I'm not much of a photoshop person, but still i should've given it a go.

Look forward to the next one :)

Number 8 has my vote as well. I thought it was a particularly clever use of PS. I'd also like to give a special mention to #6 which uses PS to create a lovely dreamy image.

My votes are:
#8: Excellent image, well thought out and processed.
#3: Again, good use of the software to combine the two images (at least).
#4: I like this effect, it's almost like an impressionist painting.

Thanks for running this :)

Gosh this contest is really hotting up! 2nd and 3rd place are very close. All up for grabs at the moment. Keep voting people! :D

Following a stream of PMs, I wanted to make one point clear. Any member of the forum can vote.

  • Participants can vote for any photo except their own
  • Non-participants can vote for any photo
I hope this clears up the confusion.

I know, I don't think I've ever seen one photo get such a high proportion of the votes before! 2nd place is very tight though

I'm brand new to this forum, and this competition idea interests me a lot. I like #1, #3 and #8 in that order. The textures in #1 just grab me and keep my attention.
