Saw a lot of people buying used for way over this price. Kind of surprised so I am posting this.

Seems to come with a full one year warranty

And quality should be great because they go through quality control before being sent out for refurb (May even be better than new due to more strict checks)

Pretty good deal since it comes with a 1 year warranty. After shipping ($15) and tax ($30 in Texas), it's around the price of used on the B&S boards. When I was looking for one, they were going for $370 or so. Just depends on what you want: 1 year warranty (refurb) vs resale value in the future (used).

pretty sure that's a mistake and the warranty is 90 days, but still better than nothing.

Buy it with a credict card with extended warranty. That will cover for one year.

Probably not. Mastercard's extended warranty is not applicable for refurbished products, and for something that has 90-day warranty, they will extend it only by another 90days. 1 year extension is when the product has 1 year warranty. I had called Mastercard to check before I made a CLP purchase, and this information is straight from them.

I noticed this recently, saw several recent copies of this lens listed for $375-390.

This also applies to many other lenses as well. I've seen people asking $2100-2200 for the 70-200 f/2.8 IS II (plus 3% PP) while the Canon store has is for $2000.

It's not a special deal, Canon has been selling these for years.
