tonyniev Cream of the Crop More info | Apr 15, 2011 15:44 | #3411 Internship, residency and fellowship are same terms used here for medical studies, you take internship before getting your MD, then take 3 years residency for your specialization before you can get license to practice, then you get fellowship to be a diplomate, specialist. Two of my children are MD's and practicing here with their own clinics, both are married to MD's too. Another son shifted from MD to PhD in biological sciences and now work for a biogen star up. Ive heard Seattle and Detroit are the best cities for people who suffer from a rare skin disease, which doesn't allow them be exposed to the sun (they will get horrible burns instantly and risk death), since those cities are the most cloudy through out the year. -Omar- Flickr
