I get that. I'm just puzzled as to why it would be doing it now. I'm running Crysis 2 (full everything) on a AMD 6 core CPU with 8GB of RAM and 5830 GPU and it doesn't even break a sweat! The game you're playing shouldn't be eating up as much RAM as it is....That's just nuts!

Crysis 2 is less PC-goodies than Battlefield Bad Company 2, the levels and that could chew up substantially more RAM...Crysis 2 from my understanding is a console port...

Also IIRC windows gobbles up an amount of system ram equivalent to your GPU's VRAM, your 5830 has less VRAM than my GTX570 most likely..That could be a reason why

Last night i was playing bad company 2, it started spazzing, locking up and stuttering, i thought it was weird but i quit playing to do other things, Come to go back to play now and after 10 minutes it does it again

My motherboard is trying to give me some form of warning, but i cant read it as the warning box never displays, just simply crashes, i load up GPU-Z and my 570 is running at 82 degrees celsius...

-edit- i canned my game and its dropped to a more reasonable 60 degrees at idle..but thats still WAY too hot to me...I'm thinking somethings wrong with my heatsink, And yes, its clean

-edit2- down to 52 now..
