I mean its your choice but like julian mentioned i would go for the 5Dc. The 1ds is long in tooth. But its up to you man. If anything get a 1dsII :twisted:

I did just suggest it, $1699

I'd avoid the 5D series right now because i know theres a 5D III coming this year...

One thing about getting the 1Ds II body is you will have the "standard" of Canon pro AF to work with -- it might help to illuminate what's been going on with the 7D AF...

Oh, and it'll make you more ready than ever for that 24-70 f/2.8 IS! Maybe Julian can float you a loaner:)!
