Depends really. To transport my gear i use my northface bookbag. Once on location though ill use my lowepro slingshot 202aw. In there ill have my tokina 11-16, sigma 50 1.4, canon 24-70, and 580 exII. Plus a gripped 7D. Fits secure and i can change lenses quickly with it.

I have the tiny lowpro slingshot, I luv that thing tho it is tiny I must admit. The next size up from it is nice as well. Anymore gear then that, I want on wheels or I should be carrying less crap!

Yeah, see I need something for home that holds all my filters and crap too. Hence I was looking at that 450 Lowepro. But then a decent bag to piss about when I go places for the day. Know what I mean? Not like I'd be trekking or hiking with that 450 on my back - although it would be a great ballast to work out that bit more!!

To transport Pelican hard case 1510
On site a small Tamrac Camera bag, disguised, that can hold a body my 70-200 F 2.8 and 100-200 plus 580exii, turbosc power pack. I also have Tamrac fitted camera bag with 2 lens holder.
To told one camera I use black rapid R4 and for two cameras I have the D1

The disguised Tamrac bag holds also the iPad.

Nick if your going for F/4 version get the IS one. It's tack sharp wide open and IS mode 2 will come in handy for panning shots.

But it costs so much more... :/

Still double of what a non IS copy goes for... at that point I think I'd be just as well off saving up a bit more and getting a 2.8 IS MK I

I was looking for an option that would cost me substantially less that could be used until I could afford a 2.8, guess that's not really possible.

I mean you could spring for the non-IS version but to me that just burning through money. You could get the f4IS and realize that you dont need more than that.

Yeah... I kind of figured that was the answer... I was just being hopeful :p

We'll see... maybe I can sneak out the 2.8 IS we have at work a few times and see how it works...

All of the motox shooting would be outside so 2.8 isn't all that necessary... but it would still be nice to have.
