Very nicely done. Lighting is exactly what it should be to highlight her beauty. Bravo.

Very well done. However, I think it would have a bit more impact with a different crop. Currently its 12 x 14 which certainly isn't standard. Since she is looking into the frame I would add more space on the right side of the photo and reduce the space at the top a bit. But I suppose it also depends on how it was originally framed and whether you made allowance for a wider crop.

How's this?
There was really no room to expand to the right or left, but I made room with a little PP.
I didn't check/insure proper printing ratios or anything though, just eyeballed it.

I'm going to chime in at the risk of being flamed.
First off, I like your second crop.
Second, her strap is twisted...small issue.
Third, it's obvious you took some time setting up and making this a true portrait instead of a snapshot, so I'd change her outfit to something solid and possibly darker.
Fourth....um...While the lighting is good, I somehow got a strange feeling that this pose is intended for an older person.
I don't want to open a can of worms here...I know you said she's your daughter and I know this was done for purely artistic purposes. But this pose, I just don't know. If you had a "sexiness" meter from 1 to 10, poses with girls this age should be at a 0. This pose is simulating poses done of much older women, done to raise up the level on that meter.
I hope you don't take this wrong...it's really a nice photo.
I am writing this because I did something fairly similar. I was learning lighting, and took a rembrandt-lit photo of my daughter about the same age as yours. I liked it, and looked at it from a technical standpoint. It was a big breakthrough in my lighting technique, and I just happened to use the only model I had available that day...
Well, after a few people viewed it I heard comments like "she looks so old there", or "she's so mature" and it really made me look at it as THEY saw it, not as I was seeing it.
Anyways, sorry for the ramble.

Thanx for your comments and advice!
You are absolutely right, it could be considered a pose for an older person.
Wardrobe...I was lucky to get her to pose at all, so I wasn't concerned with her wardrobe. She was not in a great mood and was not the easiest model to work with this night. But you are right about the noisy attire!

Truthfully all I was interested in was the lighting on her face, hair and shoulders. I set the lights up and told her what I was trying to achieve and she selected the pose (probably from the posing PDF we were looking at the other day).

Only my second time using flash/strobes of any kind so i'm kind of taking baby steps.
I've certainly very much to learn...details details details!!! ALL of these comments and advice are what helps!
