Nice series; #1 is my favorite. I love the way you composed that shot!

While I normally prefer color landscapes, I'd have to say in this particular instance I prefer the B&W of the third image. IMHO, the first image has a bit too much contrast, at least after being sized for the web. The water is blown out and the blacks are awfully dark in my browser. I like the last two the best. Good stuff as always, Scott.

Cheers mate. I'm leaning towards the black n white version too.. With regards to #1, the original has only minor clipping of the blacks, whites are good. I've been noticing a big difference in the look of my flickr shots compared to the originals!?! Even the jpeg after re-sizing looks better before flickr have got their hands on it.. Not sure what the cause is, but it's starting to annoy me. :mad: :lol:

A lot of people complain about the image quality on Flickr. That's why I don't use it!

It's weird. I used Photobucket for years without any problems, even though other people complained about it, then all of a sudden my images started to suffer with the same problems everyone else was talking about. Was told flickr would be better, but it doesn't seem any better to me!?!?!?!
