This is really annoying! I've been trying to upload an image taken on the 30D to Deviant art like I have been doing for ages, but the image, being in portrait format, becomes rotated when uploaded to dA! So I end up with a vertical tree shot being on its side! I then think, Oh I'll rotate the image 90 degrees to the left which should give me the correct orientation only to find its uploading with the image oriented the other way!! AAAAAHH So what I had to do was use Save for Web, which then uploads it with the correct orientation!

Well thanks for all the help guys ;)
Turned out its because I have Auto-rotate on, which was turned off on the 10D and I forgot about it on the 30D! So word is, don't use Auto rotate in camera! ( funny the problem doesnt arise with my Panasonic!)
