Will my 10" netbook fit in the the front pocket of the pro runner 300? I'm torn between this one and the 350, but the 350 is 10.5" deep! I'm afraid it will feel like a suitcase on my back! (I have the Think Tank Airport Antidote and that is exactly what it feels like when loaded...)

I think it would be a tight fit, depending on the other parameters of your netbook. I have this bag and can tell you the front pocket is really designed for carrying papers, keys, cards, and other personal items. The flap on that pocket is not padded at all.

Thanks, tgara. I thought so, and I'm not worried about the lack of padding. I'm just not looking forward to the 3" difference in depth between the 300 and the 350. And why is the 350 10.4" deep if it's only 4.5" deep in the camera section? What in the world is being taken up in that other 6" of depth? Can't be the laptop section....

Well, part of it IS the laptop section and additional padding. The laptop section is between the bottom of the bag (i.e., the part against your back) and the bottom of the camera section). The actual compartment is about 2 inches deep (1.8 inches) and sandwiched between two pads for protection. It adds up to about 3 additional inches of total exterior depth compared to the 300AW (10.4 vs. 7.5). Compare the exterior dimensions and you'll see the difference.

The dimensions of the laptop section in the 350AW are 11.2W X 1.8D X 14.6H in., and is designed to fit a 15.4 inch laptop. Seems like overkill for a 10 inch netbook. You could always get a bigger laptop to fill the space. :)
