Originally done in MediaChance Dynamic PHOTO HDR then processed in PS and Silver Efex.....I was mainly interested in bringing out the texture detail.

Well you certainly succeeded in bringing out the textures of the machine. Did you also add grain with the b&w conversion?

Nice job on the processing.

Thanks navydoc - there may have been some grain added as I used a couple of presets (layered) from Silver Efex. I didn't notice what was included in each - just eyeballed the image itself. The colour versions were a bit subdued for me even after the tone mapping. Day was overcast and old wood and metal were quite gray.

That is quite a bit of texture. Nice work, I like it.

Nice effort Spike.

I'm not familiar with MediaChance. What are your thoughts about it verses other HDR options?

Thanks sbattey - appreciated.
Hi Jon...thanks for the comment.
I really like this SW and HDR Efex Pro....Photomatix 3rd. I have a harder time making slight adjustments in Photomatix and waiting for the results. I encourage you to download the Dynamic trial and explore their page. http://www.mediachance.com/hdri/index.html (external link) . It does image fusion, video and those neat little Planets :)
I just posted another image - "Amaryllis" using the Mediachance product.
