Well i have seen people use this type of edit to make the picture look faded and give it that redish look. I work off of gimp so i don't have the right tools but 3 days later i finally came up with my own method of this kind of editing and i want to know what you guys think.

LOL, yeah, kinda in the wrong forum.

Nice shot though. I'm not really sure what look you are trying to achieve. To me it just kind of looks like the WB is off, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Maybe it would help if we saw the original.

There is also a Critique Corner forum here at POTN... It was specifically created for people looking for comments on their photos.

If staff feels like this needs to be moved then it will be , personally didn't ask for "if this go's here" all i asked for is opinions let the staff do there job . I find it kind of rude when you come in here and reply to something that isn't related to the question asked . If it bothers you that people mistakenly adds threads to the wrong section then forums aren't for you .

back on topic please

Staff can i request to move this to the correct section :)
Thanks .

not entirely sure what effect you were going for, but it works. the only thing i would add is there is a rule of thirds, where you divide the image into thirds, rather than half, which is sort of what you've done. there is a lot of empty space above the pup's head, and i think it would work better if you took away some of the empty space and had the pup take up the two thirds on the bottom. cute dog!
