Did a shoot today of my buddy doing what he does best.

no offense but what happened to this picture? it doesnt look like it was taken with a 40d and 17-40L. sorry but maybe its the upload that screwed with it? its also got a pink/purple tint to it like you were shooting with velvia slide film.

thanks for the input, but i assure you it was taken with a 40D and a 17-40L, I guess it might be my pos Acer laptop because i don't see any pink/purple tint in the photo.

it does have a Purple colour

It does have a purple tint, and also, the composition is really bad. When shooting skateboarding you want to go a little wider so you can get what it is they are hitting and landing on, with this you have no sense of scale, Shutter speed is way too slow too, either lower your aperture or bump up the iso.

Cant agree about the 'composition is really bad' not saying its the greatest ever but I think calling it really bad is way OTT
I think this image would be better if the other person was not in it and the colour correction needs sorting and a little fill flash

Thanks everyone for your input ill make a mental note next time I shoot only other lens ill have soon is the Canon 15mm f2.8 other than that I have the 17-40L

i'm semi biased on if you should photoshop the guy out of the back, other than that. great angle!
