I have a mild vertical Magenta band along one edge of the frame, on my 5d2. The camera has always done this, since new, so maybe it needs to go back as it's still under warranty.

Is this a common thing? I've never heard of it before.

You'd better wait until the warranty expires.
It OBVIOUSLY isn't normal, what are you waiting for?

It doesn't sound right. Do you have a couple of examples you could post?

It's quite mild and a little difficult to show. It's esentially a mild magenta color cast on the left hand side of the frame.

This may or may not load as it looks like the host is having some trouble at the moment.

I know some people will say it's the lighting, or the lens, but it is nothing of the kind as it is visible in a range of conditions, lighting, lenses etc. It's just very minor so it normally isn't even visible.

But I will take it to be checked while it's still under warranty.
