Sunday I shot at the 1/8th mile at Barona. It was the Antique Drags, but this was my favorite vehicle there.

Since I did a little editing tonight, I'll add a couple more.

I think when I was editing the first ones my brain was sunburnt. I was doing funny things with the colors. These are more normal.

For me, most of them are ruined by being too tight - #2 (parts of the car are clipped) & #3 (no room above the roof line) in the first set and #2 (no room near the left rear tail light) in the second set.
Shoot a bit looser to include some of the surroundings to give the shots a little bit of context and depth.

hmm, I was trying really hard to JUST get the car and not the starter and other stuff in the background. I guess because I was mostly caring about what each car was oing on launch, how much it twisted, how much the tires wrinkled, stuff like that. But I might have over done it and you are right about the depth, I see what you are saying. I might go back through and select some different images to edit, thanks for the input!

Also, after thinking about it more, I am seeing that they have no where to go in the image which is something I hate and i can't believe I did it! There isno context, just a car.

OK thanks again!
