It would've been better (in my opinion only) if she was looking at the camera. Nice choice on shooting location. Daniel

Next time I would ask her to leave her bra off since the black parts peek through at times. That was actually a swimsuit that she wore so that quick wardrobe changes could take place, haha. A little distracting in some of the photos, true. XxDJCyberLoverxX wrote in post #12218885 I really like the composition in the 1st picture. Posing is one of those things that you [as the photographer] get better with experience. While I agree that I do have a lot to learn about posing a model, I have to disagree that the posing is over the top. I wanted a little bit of a "fashion" feel to the images, which is why a few have exaggerated poses. Fashion or not though, I feel like they are more visually interesting because of the poses and would be much more mundane if she were just standing there, crossing her arms, hands in her pockets etc. Theo Civitello - Houston Based Automotive, Wedding & Life Photography

The tree branch composition in #2 also feels a bit forced. With that being said, #1 is fantastic. You are extremely lucky to have such a gorgeous model to work with and this shows her off at her best. Great expression and pose. The light also works well. #3 isn't so bad either. The colors and the lighting are nearly as good as #1. #7 ALMOST works for me, but her expression is a bit odd. Also, is that gum or just a tooth sticking out on the left side of her mouth? Bizarre of me to ask I know, but it threw me off initially. I will say that I do like the movement her hands are bringing to this image. It definitely gives me that "wading- through-the-forest" feel, which I think is what you were going for. ![]() Overall: Not bad at all for a first try. jenirose3 wrote in post #12227660 For me the poses don't even have the fashion-y feel.
