In #1 the lower bird is a cormorant Note the long neck and bill.All good shots

I really like images 2&3 but the out of focus branches in the first image are distracting IMHO.

The lower bird is the the same bird as 2 and 3, not a cormorant. They're turkey vultures, quite common here although I've never seen a tree full of them before

Yeah, I didn't get any good shots of the tree, when I first saw it my camera had the 17-40 attached and there were 7 birds there. By the time I got the 70-200 on they were all on their way out.
