This past weekend my son's 5th & 6th grade class at church held a car wash to raise funds to help cover mounting medical bills for a fellow student. She and her family are currently serving as missionaries in Asia, and she's had serious health problems. The kids raised over $11,000 in donations and sponsorships! They worked all day long washing over 200 cars! I brought along my camera to help document the day.

Be sure to check out some more photos here...

Tim as a Missionary living in Asia I say don't forget to send the pictures along with the funds it will bring a smile to their faces to see what others did on their behalf. It brought a smile to my face for sure. Great to see young kids doing their part to help others. Thanks for sharing. I was thinking of you as I shot a family this last Sunday for a book cover here. I admire your work for how natural it looks and the look of family that comes across. I think that we were able to accomplish just that for the most part.

Great work! I really like the sequencing as well, and each of the images are great on their own. I really like the expression of the guy cleaning the wheel, and the boys eating lunch :)

Roman...thanks man! I always appreciate your comments. No ND filter was used. I trust all is well with you these days.

Patrick...thanks! The kids did such a great job! All the shots taken throughout the day were with the 24LII, 35L, and 135L.

anlenke...thanks for the thoughtful comments! I'm glad you think the images work well on their own. I always try to keep that in mind when I set up a shot. And yeah, the boys eating lunch was actually one of my favorites!
