Hello all,

I'm looking for some advice on an inexpensive backdrop of reasonable quality.... I'm doing an engagement party in less than a month and I'm thinking of doing photos on the side for the guest as well as keepsake photos for the soon to be married couple and family.....

I have browsed adorama and B & H but I am unsure what I should buy.

Please help!!!!!!!

I got a backdrop kit from Cowboy Studio, came with the stands, muslin (got black and white), and a carrying case. Doesn't come with muslin clamps, but you can just get the stands if you already have the backdrops, plus they have various heights to choose from.
The stands are the air cushioned, springy type that won't just drop down on you when you're collapsing them. They aren't the thin stands you would use for a solo speedlight or something either, they are the thick stands you'd use with a large reflector, so they are very sturdy. I've had zero problems with mine (had the kit for about 2 months now) and I don't foresee any problems anytime soon. The carrying case helps a LOT for portability, everything fits snuggly.
I'm pretty sure its the same inexpensive backdrop kit most companies sell and probably all get from China, just rebranded.
