6:10 AM, a little before the sun came up.

IMAGE: http://www.itsanadventure.com/postimages/BostonNight_61933.jpg

This was at the first of 4 locations I shot from this morning. A large spit of rubble - the remains of the footing for a pier - led out into the harbor blocking me from getting too much water into the view. Once the sun came up I could see a spot a couple hundred feet to one side which gave me a clearer view. It was far too dark to see this spot when I got on location. Reconnaissance during the daylight hours is a good idea....

Wow! This one takes the cake! Great shot. The Chamber of Commerce should hang that in their halls.

Maybe next time I visit Boston, you can show me some of your vantage points?

I'd be happy to. I'm pretty familiar with the city and there's tons of great stuff around.

Georgeous Scott. Such great detail in the buildings. How many images was this stitched together.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

Thanks folks! I really like this image myself. I'm itching to go back and got a 100-megapixel version. I'd love to see this printed at 2 feet by 6 feet.
:-)
