Hey all, here's the latest.

I had a planed shoot with a model this weekend, but it fell through so I hit the streets, hope you enjoy.

Anyone new to this series that has questions, please refer to the previous 11 threads because they were probably already covered.

For those not new to this series, I truly hope I'm not boring the heck out of you! :(

It finally just dawned on me that these are all landscape(yeah, I can be a bit un-observant at times. haha) which I think is one reason I like them so much. Often times I like to shoot landscape rather than portrait style.
Once again, these are great! You're just getting better and better! :D Keep it up!

Awesome! Love #55.

I can't seem to get the courage to approach stranger and take their photos. I envy you!

yes, IME the background matters a lot. it can truly make or break these shots. in my early stages of this project I had a lot of tossed shots because i didn't consider the background (like getting too much of the sky) and having half the frame blown out which was very distracting. so i consider the background a tremendous amount when shooting this project.

- sometimes i'll try to capture a lot of people in the background (if they are far enough away) which can add to the 'street' feel i'm going for. or sometimes i'll try to isolate the subject... it all depends. with this too, you have to think quick becuase these people aren't models, they are complete strangers so I have to be concious of their time

thanks Alex - yes I shoot landscape for this project as I want to frame the street feel behind the subject. portrait mode would cut too much of that 'feel' out. thanks for noticing.

yeah, i'm working building up the portrait gallery on my site... its starting to bother me strangers dominate my site... i'm really trying to get more senior type portraits and similar work up there. I had a model cancel on me this weekend which I had plans on putting in my portrait gallery, which led to me hitting the streets again.

- thanks for all the positive comments guys, truly appreciated.
