From what I understand this plane flipped and is almost restored.

Good series on it. Too bad that it wasn't outside.

Not sure if this is the one or not but there is a video of it. The pilot had a "passenger" in with him giving a "joy" ride. The passenger stiff legged the rudder pedals during a loop and "locked" the wheel brakes. This is like setting the emergency brakes on a car. There is no "indicator" light for it and the pilot didn't know - until he set it down on the runway!!

It was too late then and the wheels were locked so the plane skidded to a short stop and flipped end over end. Neither of the people in it were hurt. Just embarrassed.

Great photos. Looks good. Thanks for sharing.

I am hoping to take pics outside once the snow is gone and the wing tip is fixed. It should be in the air this summer.

Thanks for all the comments.

Nice details, looks like she'll be a purdy one! The Jacobs conversion is a really nice mod.

Is this the same model, or am I just being fooled by the same color scheme?

Guy's what's the difference between this Boeing Mod 75 and the Boeing PT17 primary trainer? My late farther was a serious RC model flier and I remember as a teenager in the 70's he had a rather nice sacle model of a PT17 which looked identical to this aircraft (well apart from only having a wingspan of of around 6 feet).

Model 75 was Boeing's product designation for the aircraft the Army bought as the PT-17 and the Navy as the N2S,
