Swiftwater Covered Bridge, New Hampshire Bridge #29, in Bath on Route 112.

IMAGE: http://www.itsanadventure.com/postimages/SwiftwaterBridge_61877.jpg

I have to admit that there are power lines running over the bridge and I had to spend several minutes cloning them out. I truly, truly depise power lines. They are the great bane of photographers who like to buildings and shurches and other man-made stuff. I truly hate seeing all those nice old buildings with power lines draped in front. Argh!!

Down with power lines!

I also hate powerlines. And I love covered bridges. We dont have any around here. Nice shot.

Once again, very nice Scott. Seems like you've spending some time out doing landscapes. Powerlines do get in the way but if you hadn't said anything we wouldn't have known. You do such a good job in PS.

My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

  I couldn't agree more,,except to add emphatically that it's not just around man made objects...try filming a row of fall foliage some time ( I know, the road is man made) but you get my drift...all powerlines under ground...unite brothers !!

Another stunner Scott, nice job.

I agree about powerlines too.
My favourite view from the fields behing my house had annoying power lines in it. Ironically the focal point of the view is often the power station some 12 miles away!

If in doubt, I shut up...

Beautiful scene, Scott. I agree with you feelings about power lines. In particular, it seems that every beautiful church is surrounded by them.

Ain't that the truth! I once saw a message or something on the Internet, and the person complained that there were only 4 power-line-free churches left in New England. That may have been an exaggeration, but I'm not so sure...

I like it Scott, especially the amount of shadow detail you've managed to maintain within a single exposure. Nice work on the powerlines too, would never know

I guess power lines get in the way of everthing::mrgreen:

Scott that is a beautiful photo of the covered bridge, I couldn't agree with you more about the power lines. I've had what would have been some fantastic shots but you couldn't even clone out all the lines, nor could you move to get around them ugh.

Let me know if you want me to remove the photo. I just couldn't resist.

Nice shot and you handled the power lines very well. I too dislike them. We try to keep them buried in my neighborhood but there aren't any interesting buildings here to photograph. I would be happy to see them all gone too, just as soon as someone comes up with a wood or gas fired PC...

I really like it (the bridge)! That would make a good candidate for a B/W too! My only nit is that it appears to have a degree or two of CW tilt to it.

BTW...DOWN WITH POWER LINES!! :D
