Can anyone refer me to info on the minimum size CF card I will need for HD video on the 7D? Say for a 60 minutes program at maximum video settings...will my Lexar Professional 300x 8GB CF be enough? and at what point does the "speed" on these CF cards pay off or is wasted? 30MB/s good enough or do I really need the latest 60MB/s or 90MB/s?

30mb/s is more than ample for video.

Video is somewhere around 1 gig/min but someone who does this more often can give you a more accurate number.

Page 174 of the 7D manual has the answer...

(it is the same for all Canon DSLR's except those that use SD cards need a class 6, which is about 6MB/s)
