I recently lost the Hoya filter I had for my 17-55, and am planning to get a B+W to replace it. Which of these 2 would you get?

If you want B+W, the closest thing they make is a UV filter. Some other manufacturers are offering clear/protective filters. Including some that have multi-coatings. I don't use them so can't really suggest anything specific. It's almost unnoticible difference between a UV and/or haze/skylight and clear.
