No pics but my studio is in the garage. This garage though is anything but the usual it is 42'x30' with loft area over half of it. It was built by my husband as his play area but I've sense taken over 2/3's of it for my studio. The camera room is in the loft with client area and small office below as well as a printing area. There is still room in whats left for my husbands baby a 70 Challenger and his hoist.

how big or maybe how small should/can a studio be and still work? My garage has floor joists exposed from above. I don't know if that matters or not.

I have a two car garage that doubles as my studio. Is it an optimal setting? Of course not. But it works quite well.

There is a garage studio thread around here somewhere.
