Hello, I just went to the Kelby training seminar in chicago and have gotten Photoshop CS5. These are the first 2 images I used CS5 on. CC please, let me know what im doing wrong, or right! Thank you!

hey,
first one a little redish...
liked the secound one, but still it could be nicer if the sweet baby had looked to the camera.. :)

Agreed, first shot is way too red. Second is nice, but it would be better if the baby was looking at the camera.

The eyes in the first and a little in the second are a bit over "popped" for my taste, but to each their own.

Look at the difference between the two images. That should be your first clue that something is off. Skin tones in 1 are too red. Look at the luminence/saturation and color temp. Might have been more effective in portrait vs. landscape orientation. Wolfden also brings up a good point. You will be unable to get consistency in image printing if your monitor isn't calibrated. No it's not calibrated. Im gonna see if one of my friends will help me. I did find out the odd zooms and changing my screen resolution from 72 to 96 seemed to help. Thanks for your help, i will have my screen calibrated soon!
